Many people like to call this time of year the "Season of Giving". Well it seems like the NCAA certainly received the memo since they just can't stop giving Langston scholarship offers. This past weekend, Pridgeon took a trip out to Bulldog country to pay the University of Georgia's coaching staff a visit. Unsurprisingly, they added to the long list of options that Langston will have to consider after his Highschool career.
What more can we say about this guy that hasn't been said already. I think the only person more excited than Langston himself is Coach Ashby, who can hardly contain himself when talking about how great of an athlete, and person this young man is. We would say "Keep up the great work", but it seems to come naturally at this point. So happy for you kid!
And just like that, Brayden has just hauled in an offer from Columbia University! For those of you who haven't been paying attention, the young phenom out of Lightridge Highschool now has his second Division I scholarship offer. Brayden Oshode is a multi-position athlete, taking snaps at both defensive back, and wide receiver. Now in his junior year, Oshode continues to stand out as a leader among his teammates. Making big plays when needed, as well as crushing it in the classroom.
"This is a special kid", says Coach Ashby. "He has a goal, and he's 100% focused on achieving it." His focus is on full display when you watch him in action too. This guy can flat out play ball! We'll be keeping a close eye on Brayden as he continues to make his school, his family, and the BZA Team proud.
The last couple of months have been nothing short of amazing for our guy Langston. Between August and September, Pridgeon was officially ranked a five star Cornerback on Rivals.com and has also received two more Division I scholarship offers.
Pridgeon, who is now a sophomore and is therefore eligible for a "star" ranking on the Rivals platform, had his profile updated early in August following an exceptional freshman season and is on pace to turn even more heads this season.
Pridgeon also rounded out September with official visits to both West Virginia University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which ended in him receiving scholarship offers from both schools.
As we near the apex of the high school football season, Langston is just getting started and is expecting much more success. Let's keep the ball rolling! So proud of this young man.
There's a new guy on the BZA block. And despite being new to the family, he's already following the trend of pulling DI scholarship offers. Brayden Oshode is 6ft. 175lbs. of pure athlete. Taking snaps at both defensive back and wide receiver, Oshode has been catching all the right kind of attention.
Not only is Oshode handling business on the football field, he's also a standout in the classroom, having received his first Division I scholarship offer from Yale, an Ivy League University. Brayden's a special guy and you're not going to want to miss this kid's journey! Stay tuned for updates.
If you've also been holding your breath in anticipation for what school Chase Geter will choose to further his education and football career, the wait is finally over.
As of June 22nd, the highly sought after defensive back has officially committed to Syracuse University. Syracuse, being just one of almost 30 Division I schools that have offered Chase a scholarship, is known for developing athletes both on and off the field. Preparing them to not only play at the highest level, but also to be a standout in life as well.
After careful deliberation with family, coaches, and trusted consultants, Chase decided that Syracuse made the most sense for his future endeavors. The BZA Team couldn't be more proud and excited to see what this next chapter has in store for Chase.
If you haven't heard the name: Langston Pridgeon by now, you are well behind the curve my friend. This young man has made his mark on Loudon County in just one season as a Stone Bridge Bulldog. Demanding the attention of several Division I Football programs.
As we reach the apex of Summer, Pridgeon adds another scholarship offer to his collection. During an official visit to Vanderbilt University Coach Rich expressed interest in having Langston become a member of their team come Fall of 2028. This is one of a few visits Langston has scheduled this Summer and we certainly look forward to seeing who else jumps on the Langston train.
As the 2024-2025 school year comes to a close, for many of these young people the future can seem a bit uncertain. Many kids approach the end of their senior year with a mixture of excitement and trepidation, as they decide which path to take. There's a good chance that they are scrambling to get the attention of their favorite college, with hopes of getting accepted.
Then there's Chase Geter, who has colleges fighting for his attention.
All across the nation, Geter, a 3 star Defensive Back out of Stone Bridge High school in Virginia, has Coaches of top football programs trying to figure out what it would take to get him on their roster come Fall of 2026. He's touted as one of the top athletes in the area, earning 1st Team All-State honors and putting up a very impressive stat line this past season.
As of late May, the football phenom now has 28 Division I Scholarship offers under his belt. The crazy part is he still has several more official visits before he makes his decision in June. We're excited to see where Chase will choose to continue to grow as a young man and athlete.
There are a few things that keep coaches lying awake at night before games. Constructing an effective gameplan, assessing their personnel, and of course Langston Pridgeon.
In just his freshman season, Langston has become a nightmare for coaches all over Loudon County, Virginia. Standing at 6'2, 170lbs, Pridgeon routinely breaks up passes and delivers devastating hits to opposing team's Wide Receivers. So much so that even as a rising sophemore, he already has nearly a dozen scholarship offers from big name football programs.
Langston looks forward to bolstering his resume with a winning season next year and also earning a spot next to his teammate Chase Geter on that 1st Team All-State list. Way to go young man!

Not only has BZA Fitness been making it's mark locally, we've also gained the national attention of Rivals.com! Known for highlighting some of the best high school athletes in the nation, being featured on Rivals.com has become a badge of honor among athletes and coaches alike.
We couldn't be more proud of standout Defensive Backs: Chase Geter and Langston Pridgeon for earning recognition among the best athletes in high school football. Rivals.com featured a full length article mentioning both young men along with their accolades, and scholarship offers. The article goes on to mention our very own Brenden Ashby. Highlighting his extensive training with the young men and praising his outstanding performance as a skill development coach. As we draw closer to the season, we're excited to see what's in store for our athletes.
